Nick and Rachel had a picture perfect wedding day. Gorgeous summer weather, perfect details, and a fun and sentimental ceremony and reception! The couple started their day off preparing at the Omni William Penn in downtown Pittsburgh. They then took a short trip over to Oakland to say their vows in the beautiful Heinz Chapel. I really love Heinz Chapel. Not only is it a beautiful place to get married, located in the heart of Oakland, I love how they allow couples to prepare and say their own heartfelt vows, in addition to the traditional marriage vows.
After some lovely portraits around Oakland, we set off to Duquesne University for a beautiful and fun reception. I loved how the light poured through the oversized windows, and the easily accessible balcony that overlooks the city. NoBadJuju were incredible, and kept the party going all evening!
