Nicole + Scott: A Pittsburgh Winter Wedding

Nicole and Scott were married on February 19, 2017 here in Pittsburgh, PA. February is a notoriously cold month here in the 'Burgh, but this year it was quite warm! It actually reached 65 degrees during the day. Amazing!

Perfect weather and a perfect wedding. Nicole and Scott prepared downtown at the trendy and fun Hotel Monaco, and had their first look on the roof. Insert heart eyes here! After some rooftop portraits, we traveled out to historic Old Saint Luke’s Church, in Carnegie. Old Saint Luke's was established in 1765. The stone interior matches the exterior, and it's just lovely in pictures and video. After a sweet ceremony, we rode along with the happy couple for some sunset portraits downtown and on Mount Washington. Nicole and Scott had a intimate reception at Monterey Bay Fish Grotto, where Nicole surprised Scott with a performance by University of Pittsburgh’s a cappella group, Pitches & Tones - so awesome, right?

Fun fact: Nicole and Scott picked the song in their video (Open Your Eyes - The Royal Foundry) because they love The Office, and the original Snow Patrol version is the song that Jim uses in his video for Pam, to show her how much he loves her. So adorable!

The couple requested a 5 minute edited video, which you can view below. I had such a great time with Nicole and Scott, they are such truly kind people, and really fun to hang out with. Congrats to the happy couple!
